How bodybuilding (weight training) can rebuild and rehab your body and why it is an especially good choice for women over 40. I have been training moderately (yes, moderately!) but consistently for 6 months now and I can already see the effects of improved fitness and better metabolism.     What kind of effect has the strength training had on your energy level, emotional health etc? AND How long did it take you to feel better/feel the difference?
    How many days per week do you train and for how long each secession?

  5. Good inpiration for body restoration. You got the glow & tone. However, it's not so helpful for cadiovascular improvement. Aerobic excercise is the thing for that.

Thanks for getting this out.  I used to work with free weights when I was younger and it has so many benefits.  I am a great-grandmother now and have stenosis, degenerative disc disease, and facet osteoarthritis in my back so this kind of exercise only agitates the pain that I already have with these conditions.  So I am having to look at other forms of exercise.  Stay cool!
